经过8年的努力，宝山已经建成163家“爱心妈咪小屋”，其中五星级19家、四星级40家、三星级74家，分布在宝山的学校医院、企业园区、机关楼宇。
小屋亮起的一盏盏灯光，温暖了每一个在工作岗位上辛苦忙碌着的宝妈们。

近年来，宝山区总工会女工委每年为新建小屋提供专项资金支持，鼓励更多的企事业单位积极创造条件为女职工打造温馨港湾。
随着功能的不断延伸拓展，“爱心妈咪小屋”成为特殊生理期女职工舒适、隐秘、卫生和安全的暖心空间；成为更多女职工相互学习、沟通、交流、倾诉的心灵驿站。
同时小屋通过定期组织女职工开展亲子教育、孕期呵护、小儿按摩培训课堂等，成为不断丰富女职工精神和生活需求的新平台、新阵地。
